I see that Eureka suffers from a widespread reputation of crime, blight, and drug use. Rather than ignore these issues, I will bring alternative initiatives that forge new opportunities. Top priorities are:
*listening to the communities concerns and addressing them directly
*cleaning up the City budget
*allocating proper City funds for regular cleanup
*establishing evidence-based strategies to offer new initiatives for housing option, work opportunity, and recovery pathway
*to create a New Coalition to bring current efforts together so we can work together to face this with a multi-faceted approach, because there is no one-size option
